When is Botox or Dysport used?

Wrinkle relaxers block the release of substances needed to contract muscles that are attached to the skin. Contraction pulls the overlying skin and forms wrinkles. Temporarily relaxing the muscles causes the overlying skin to get stretched. This way, fewer fillers are used and lasers and peels reach the skin more efficiently for better results.

Definitely, Microneedling, Chemical Peels and laser treatments can diminish lines, age spots and other blemishes but resistant wrinkles definitely require Botox or Dysport. In fact, “the earlier, the better” applies petty much to wrinkles. You’ll be needing less and requiring fewer appointments over time.

Though wrinkle relaxers are almost a byword in the aesthetic industry, some clients tend to put it off until the furrows are more prominent; fearful of more sagging once the effects wear off. Botox

Botox relaxes the muscles underneath facial wrinkles, thus smoothing the overlying skin. This is one of the best non-invasive aesthetic treatments out there. It’s also virtually painless!

Dysport

Dysport works identically to Botox. Sometimes Dysport begins to act faster than Botox due to its small molecule size, but this will vary from person to person.
